Chantel Naylor is a Montana-born designer and founder of Awful Nice. Equal parts strategist and design detailist, she loves finding the thing that makes a business different, then turning it into a brand people actually remember.
After more than a decade at agencies and working alongside architects, she started Awful Nice to make the process more personal, more collaborative, and a little closer to the art. Think less outside designer, more extension of the team.
Off the clock, she’s usually outside with her husband, toddler, and cattle dog in tow. Summers are for rivers, mountains, wildflowers, golf, and live music. Winters belong to Bridger Bowl and Teton Pass. And she’ll rarely pass up a small-town rodeo, a one-lift ski hill, a creative postcard, or a good dive bar.
